Fallout 3 rivet city location1/31/2023 Do you Nuke the NCR because its failure of enforcement, or the Legion for its arbitrary and vicious attitude to savages? In the end you feel it's best to nuke both, as when they are destroyed they will split into different tribes and the people in New Vegas can have a better future. The NCR on the other hand has good intentions but they "end up killing people by trying to save them" when they take a settlement they can't protect from raiders. The citizens are better defended from murderers compared to the NCR. Slavery is a thing, but all slaves are ensured life. Sure the Legion are bad, but only to other bad guys. My favorite philosophical decision in the series is deciding whether to SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER nuke the NCR, the Legion, or both if you don't pass the speech checks or have the logs in Lonesome Road. You either don't detonate it so you have a place to sell your goods and a house, or you explode it so you can be with some mysterious stranger. You have to visit this city several times during your main adventure. I disagree Megaton was an example of Bethesda trying to show off its morality system but it has no depth. Rivet City is a settlement at the far southeastern end of the Capital Wasteland.
